Creative Director | Brand Strategist
Visit Burbank needed a refreshed identity that reflected the city’s unique personality; creative, approachable, and full of behind-the-scenes charm. As Creative Director and Brand Strategist, I led the development of the new brand direction and logo system, helping shape a visual identity that captures Burbank’s spirit: grounded, hardworking, and quietly iconic.
The rebrand process included multiple rounds of research and collaboration with layered stakeholders ranging from internal staff and board members to external tourism partners. Through surveys, market research, and facilitated focus groups, we gathered the insights needed to create a brand that felt both authentic and forward-looking.
The final logo and visual system balance boldness with warmth, designed to be flexible across digital, print, and merchandise. It nods to Burbank’s cinematic legacy while focusing on the creativity and authenticity that make the city stand out in its own right.
This project is currently in the rollout phase, with brand elements continuing to launch across platforms.
